An ink-jet recording sheet is disclosed. The sheet has a porous layer containing fine particles and a binder containing a polymer compound crosslinked through side chains of the polymer on a support, in which the crosslinked polymer compound is formed by irradiating ionizing radiation to a hydrophilic polymer compound having a polymerization degree of not less than 300 and a plurility of side chain on main chain of the hydrophilic polymer compound.
