PURPOSE: A fin-tube type heat exchanger and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a gap from being created between a coolant pipe and a heat emission fin by inserting the coolant pipe into a perforated hole of the heat emission fin. CONSTITUTION: A coolant pipe(40) is fabricated by processing an aluminum thin plate coated with filler metal into a pipe shape. The pipe-shaped coolant pipe(40) is cut into several pipe parts having a predetermined size. Then, flux is coated on the pipe-shaped coolant pipe(40). The plurality of coolant pipes(40) coated with the flux are inserted into perforated holes(48) of a flat-plate type heat emission fins(45). A supporting plate is installed at both sides of the coolant pipes(40) and a plurality of return caps are fixed to the supporting plate. Then, a brazing process is carried out so as to integrally weld the above components.
