RF LINEAR POWER AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: An RF linear power amplifier is provided to improve a non-linear distortion in a broad frequency band by analyzing power spectra of an RF input signal and an RF output signal to reduce IMD(Inter-Modulation Distortion). CONSTITUTION: An RF linear power amplifier includes an amplification/compensation module(100), a compensation signal generation module(200), and a control module(300). The amplification/compensation module(100) is used for amplifying an RF signal and outputting the amplified RF signal. The compensation signal generation module(200) is used for generating a compensation signal to remove a distortion signal from the amplified RF signal. The control module(300) is used for controlling the generation of the compensation signal by controlling a gain and a phase of an error signal. The control module(300) includes a spectrum analyzer(410) and a digital controller(420). The spectrum analyzer(410) is used for analyzing an RF input signal and an RF output signal of the amplification/compensation module to obtain a power spectrum. The digital controller(420) is used for outputting a control signal to control a gain and a phase of the compensation signal of the compensation signal generation module.
