THROTTLE PLATE

The invention relates to a throttle plate in which, rather than the provision of a throttle bore, a number of recesses in the form of troughs (12, 14, 16) are preferably provided that define the flow-limiting opening cross-section when the throttle plate (10) rests against a contact surface. The invention also relates to a method for producing the inventive throttle plate involving the use of laser beams and to a throttle device. The invention additionally relates to a pump/nozzle unit in which an inventive throttle device is used for reducing a pressure that exerts a closing force onto the nozzle needle.
