The object (1) is provided with a concave area (2) for being attached to the steering wheel and a fixing strap (3) with two rows of insertion openings (10) at the outer end joined to the lower edge of the recess (2). The strap (3) is inserted into one of several transversal slots (7) at the locking device (4) designed as a rectangular plate and swivel mounted (6) to the opposite edge of the recess (2). The locking element (4) is first swiveled around the rotation axle (6) and slightly moved transversally in a second step in order to secure the strap (3).
