LINKED PROTECTION CIRCUIT FOR POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A linked protection circuit is provided to allow for ease of control of the spacing between the controller and the driver circuit, while achieving improved effectiveness of protection operation. CONSTITUTION: A linked protection circuit comprises a driver circuit for driving phases of a power supply system; a protection circuit connected to the driver circuit; and a controller connected to the driver circuit and the protection circuit so as to allow for input/output of fault signal. The protection circuit includes an arm short signal processing unit for generating an arm short signal from input/output of gate signals of each phase; an external fault signal processing unit for receiving and processing the external fault signal output from the other protection circuit; and an over current signal processing unit for outputting an over current signal as an external fault signal of the other protection circuit, and receiving an over current signal from the driver circuit of the same phase.
