PURPOSE: An image processor, a computer program product and an image processing method are provided to calculate a motion vector by little calculation quantity. CONSTITUTION: A frame memory stores the first and second image data. A memory(2) includes a plurality of elements(20) and a control part. Each of the elements(20) has a picture element(21-1), a picture element(21-2), a minimum picture element difference storage part(22), a motion vector storage part(23), a comparing-renewing part(26) and a renewing part(27). The picture element(21-1) stores the first picture element value of the first picture element of the first image data. The picture element(21-2) stores the second picture element value of the second picture element of the second image data. The minimum picture element difference storage part(22) stores the first difference value. The motion vector storage part(23) stores phase information. The comparing-renewing part(26) compares the first difference value stored in the minimum picture element difference storage part(22) with the second difference value between the first picture element and the second picture element, renews the first difference value by the second difference value according to the compared result, and outputs renewal information according to the renewal. The renewing part(27) renews phase information according to renewal information. |
