PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving a plasma display panel is provided to process bidirectionally data by integrating drivers within one driving board to drive two plasma display panels. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for driving a plasma display panel includes the first plasma display panel(41A), the second plasma display panel(41B), and a plurality of drivers(42A,42B,44A,44B,46A,46B). The first plasma display panel(41A) is formed with a plurality of scan electrodes, a plurality of sustain electrodes, a plurality of address electrodes, and a plurality of discharge cells formed at each intersection between the scan electrodes, the sustain electrodes, and the address electrodes in order to display images on the first display screen. The second plasma display panel(41B) is used for displaying the images on the second display screen opposite to the first display screen. The drivers(42A,42B,44A,44B,46A,46B) are connected to each electrode of the first and the second plasma display panels(41A,41B) in order to apply driving signals and process data, bidirectionally. |
