PURPOSE: An optical module is provided to easily correct and to obtain excellent optical coupling, a low loss, a small size and a low price. CONSTITUTION: An optical module(100) has the function of an optical branching and inserting apparatus, and has such a structure. In the structure, four collimators(111,112,113,114) and one wavelength selecting filter(115) are provided on a substrate(130) and mirrors(121,122,123,124) for correcting an optical path are provided between the wavelength selecting filter(115) and the collimators(111,112,113,114) respectively, thereby spatially propagating a light between components.
