FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, polishing and straightening of paper, cardboard and like continuous web manufactured from plant-based fibrous raw material. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has set of polishing devices, in particular, rolls or ribbons preferably arranged at both sides of web. Said devices are offset from web advancement path or web is offset from said devices by means of squeezing rolls, which obtain triboelectric charge similar to electric charge of polished surface. Method involves regulating tightening web extent by moving polishing devices or web from advancement path; removing dust released during polishing process by means of vacuum system. EFFECT: increased efficiency of web polishing without contamination of polishing device. 44 cl, 5 dwg |
