The invention relates to a semi-automatic, implantable suture device using surgical thread (11) which can be used to join biological and/or artificial tissue. The inventive device consists of blocking means (2) which enable two thread ends (31, 32) of a suture to be joined at a blocking area (42) and a support element comprising a support surface (41) on the tissue to be sutured. The invention is characterised in that it comprises means for the controlled tensioning (43) of the aforementioned thread, which can exert tension according to a first pre-determined tension value after the two ends of the thread have been blocked using the above-mentioned blocking means (2). The invention is further characterised in that the support element (41) and the blocking area (42) of the device are connected using the controlled tensioning means (43).
