<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current sensor diagnostic device capable of using only two current sensors while maintaining a function of detecting some failures in the current sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This current sensor diagnostic device detects currents of a first phase (e.g. u-phase) and a second phase (e.g. v-phase) of three-phase alternating currents passing through a three-phase AC motor, determines an integrated value of a first-phase current detected value iu(k) for a prescribed time and an integrated value of a second-phase current detected value iv(k) for a prescribed time and compares, and judges the current sensor to be abnormal when a difference between them exceeds a prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
