PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of the opening and closing motion of a valve element by coaxially connecting a driving shaft of an exhaust gas recirculating valve and a valve shaft. SOLUTION: This exhaust gas recirculating valve comprises a valve base part 22 provided with an inlet port 30 and an outlet port 32 through which exhaust gas passes, a housing 24 connected to an upper part of the valve base part 22 and having a driving part 26 inside thereof, the driving shaft 78 rotated under the driving action of the driving part 26 and axially displaced, a chuck part 94 formed on a lower end part of the driving shaft 78, the valve shaft 80 connected to the valve element 84 for opening and closing a valve seat 38 at its lower end part, and a fastening nut 96 screwed on an outer periphery of the chuck part 94 and fixing the valve shaft 80 in a state of pressing the chuck part 94 to an inner peripheral side under screwing action.
