<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of preventing goods such as stolen articles which have been unduly obtained from being bought and sold and of allowing the auction to be held safely. <P>SOLUTION: In a database 8, a trade name, a certification number, and an owner name are correlated to one another and managed. This information is inputted at a retail shop at the moment when goods are purchased and registered in the database 8. The certification number is allocated to certify that the owner has undoubtedly bought the goods. When the goods are exhibited to an auction on the Internet, the trade name, the certification number and the owner name are to be inputted and, unless the inputted information does not coincide with the information managed by the database 8, the exhibition is not permitted. Thus, the goods whose certification number and the name of the owner are unknown because of the undue acquisition are not to be exhibited to the auction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
