PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily move a cover and reduce the labor of moving it in a thermo-therapeutic appliance where outer and inner covers are telescopically nested, and a user is irradiated with far infrared rays from a heater in a cover. SOLUTION: This thermo-therapeutic appliance having the telescopically nested outer and inner covers irradiates the user with the far infrared irradiation from the heater in the cover. The inner cover is provided with inner rails protruding along the inner rails, at its bottoms on both sides, and the outer cover is provided with outer rails extending in the axial direction, at its bottoms on both sides. Friction resistance between supporting surfaces of protruded parts of the inner rails and mounting surfaces of the outer rails to be sustained by the supporting surfaces of the inner rails is reduced, and the outer rails are configured to slide in almost axial direction.
