<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which it is not easy in a clock generation method for recording in a conventional technology to keep the clock for recording in satisfactory quality and to realize an advantage of CAV recording although its advantage is pointed out in comparison with CLV recording. <P>SOLUTION: The clock signal for recording is not generated from a wobble signal vulnerable to noise, and required frequency for recording is calculated from address information modulated into the wobble signal and recorded. The signal for this frequency is generated through synthesisation from stable reference signal source such as a crystal oscillator, and the like, and used as the clock for recording. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
