PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent element having uniformity and a good jointing surface and a transfer material used for the same, in which an organic thin film layer can be formed on a substrate at low cost by a simple manufacturing device. SOLUTION: Provided is a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent element in which, a transfer material having an organic film layer on a temporary support body is overlapped on a substrate so that the organic film layer side may face a film-formed face of the substrate and heated and /or pressed, and, the organic film layer is transferred on the film-formed face of the substrate by peeling off the temporary support body.
