<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of dyeing a plastic lane in a shorter time than a conventional method as a method of dyeing a plastic lens by an air layer method. <P>SOLUTION: The method of dyeing the plastic lens includes a radiation layer forming process of forming a far-infrared-ray radiation layer 12 on a substrate 2, a coating process of coating the far-infrared-ray radiation layer with a sublimating dye, and a dyeing process of dyeing the plastic lens by sublimating the sublimating dye by putting the surface 3 of the substrate coated with the sublimating dye and a dyed surface 7 of the plastic lens opposite each other at a distance and heating 10 the substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
