PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a balun which has excellent characteristics in wide band to be used in a radio communication system. SOLUTION: An output terminal of a first coupling line is connected to an input terminal of a second coupling line, an output terminal of a third coupling line is connected to an input terminal of a fourth coupling line, and an input terminal of the first coupling line is connected to an input terminal of the third coupling line, thereby forming an input terminal of the balun. An isolation terminal of the first coupling line is connected to an isolation terminal of the third coupling line, thereby forming a first output terminal of the balun. A coupling terminal of the second coupling line is connected to a coupling terminal of the fourth coupling line, thereby forming a second output terminal of the balun. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
