PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint of a steel sheet pile having a tip shoe easy in construction work and displaceable by following even if the displacement of the steel sheet pile caused by a ground variation is either displacement of extension and contraction. SOLUTION: The tip shoe 20 is formed of two tip shoe parts 21 and 21. The two tip shoe parts 21 and 21 are aligned and arranged in the width direction of a joint at an interval almost equal to a prescribed interval D between base parts 3 and 3 of plate-like parts 2 and 2 of the steel sheet pile 1. Upper end parts of the two tip shoe parts 21 and 21 are welded to lower end parts 3a and 3a of the base parts of the plate-like parts. A pair of connecting plates 24 and 24 are arranged so as to straddle the two tip shoe parts 21 and 21, and the respective parts are temporarily welded to two surfaces 23 and 23 extending in the joint width direction of the two tip shoe parts 21 and 21.
