<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-bag device of simple structure with a high degree of safety capable of reducing considerable amount of costs by combining an air-bag integrally with a shoulder belt for the purpose of effectively binding the head and shoulders of a person in a car. <P>SOLUTION: The air-bag device A is characterized in that it is provided with the air-bag 1 that is unfolded along the shoulder belt 2 of a 3-point seat belt and along a side face of the head of the person in a car, and with a tubular air-bag 4, installed in communication with the air-bag 1, which lets the gas evolved from an inflator 5 into the air-bag 1, while a belt-passage 6 is formed in the air-bag 1 through which the shoulder belt 2 passes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
