PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of exchanging plane tiles capable of exchanging only plane tiles in one part wherein repair is necessary in relation to the plane tiles overlapped with each other in a part thereof by an overlap tiling method using a tile fixing fitting. SOLUTION: In this method of exchanging plane tiles, a rear end of a plane tile 1 of a lower stage is fixed to a roof bedding material by bolts with the tile fixing fitting 3, and a tip of a plane tile 1 of an upper stage is inserted into the tile fixing fitting 3 to be overlapped for holding. A hole 11 is formed in the plane tile 1 of the upper stage at a position corresponding to a bolt screwing position of the plane tile 1 of the lower stage and the tile fixing fitting 3, and a bolt 4 fixing the plane tile 1 of the lower stage and the tile fixing fitting 3 is removed through the hole 11. The tile fixing fitting 3 is removed through a space between the plane tile 1 of the upper stage and the plane tile 1 of the lower stage, and the plane tile 1 of the lower stage is exchanged, and the tile fixing fitting 3 is returned to the space between the plane tile 1 of the upper stage and the plane tile 1 of the lower stage. The exchanged plane tile 1 of the lower stage is fixed by bolts with the tile fixing fitting 3 through the hole 11 opened in the plane tile 1 of the upper stage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
