PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eyeglasses with detachable soft hoods capable of reducing the gaps between the hoods and the face to the utmost and to keep the front of a frame in nearly the same outward appearance as ordinary eyeglasses and sunglasses even when the hoods are attached. SOLUTION: The eyeglasses are provided with a spectacle main body having lenses 2 supported on the frame and hoods 4 provided behind the spectacle main body. The hoods 4 are cylindrical and formed of very soft raw materials. Projections 44 for engagement are provided at their front ends. Hood support parts 3 are provided behind the lens support parts 11 of the frame 1 and engaged with the engagement parts 44 to fit the hoods to the frame. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
