PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of delivering work by folding and carrying out a section bundle carried by being stacked in quarto and required in octavo without stopping carrying for octavo regardless of attachment of an address sheet, and by shortening processing time. SOLUTION: This device has a carrying in/conveying route 100 to carry in the stacked section bundle, a carrying out/conveying route 500 to carry out the carried in section bundle, a bypass carrying out route 301 to carry out the carried in section bundle to the route 500 without folding, and a folding/conveying out route 302 in which the upstream ends of the downward conveying surfaces of a pair of conveying means 330, 340 formed into a hopper shape that an interval is narrowed toward the downstream side are arranged separately from the downstream side of the conveying surface of the route 100. The device is provided with a switching route mechanism which selectively switches the route 301 and the route 302 and can link the route 100 and the route 500 with each other by either of routes 301, 302, a holding down means 400 to selectively hold down the section bundle conveyed by the route 100 onto the route 100, and an inserting means 400 arranged to be projected in the hopper-shaped folding/conveying route 302 from the downward of the route 100.
