<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver that can quickly generate print data. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver for generating print data of an image data format is created to generate RGBX band data from an electronic document to be printed, upon a printing instruction, examine each set of RGBX raster data constituting the RGBX band data for information on how the RGBX raster data can be divided into a plurality of continuous parts with the same RGBX data (step S104, S105, S106, etc.), record the examination result in the RGBX raster data (step S107, S110), and convert each set of RGBX raster data into CMYKX raster data according to the examination result recorded in the RGBX raster data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
