PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super-critical water oxidative degradation apparatus which prevents the discharge of a secondary product to the outside, enables the monitoring of corrosion progress of a reactor, and also is made small-sized. SOLUTION: The super-critical water oxidative degradation apparatus is provided with: a reaction part 4 which subjects material to be treated containing halogen atom and sulfur atom to oxidative degradation in super-critical water; a cooling part and a pressure-reducing valve 7 which cool/decompress treated fluid discharged from the reaction part; and a gas-liquid separation part 8 which separates the treated fluid to water and carbon dioxide. Further, the apparatus is provided with a monitoring part 11 which measures salt-containing waste water discharged from the reaction part and the carbon dioxide and the water discharged from the gas-liquid separation part, a control part 12 which controls the supply amount of neutralizer neutralizing a corrosive gas and the temperature and pressure of the reaction part in accordance with the measurement value of the monitoring part, a neutralizer supplying line 14 which supplies the neutralizer to the reaction part and a return flow line 19 which returns the water and the carbon dioxide discharged from the gas-liquid separation part to the reaction part.
