PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slider, engaging pulls of sliders with each other or engaging a pull with a nip piece in a simple mechanism, preventing opening of a fastener chain, and being locked. SOLUTION: When the fastener chain is closed, the pull of the slider and the pull of another slider as a receiving member, or the nip piece are overlapped in the same direction, and the opposite surfaces of the pull and the receiving member are provided with an engagement part such as snap-type engagement projecting part and engagement recessed part to be engaged with each other. After the fastener chain is closed, a lock rod of a lock is passed through an overlapping through-hole provided in the pull or the nip piece, thereby easily achieving locking or closing.
