<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor drive mechanism that is simply structured and curbs load changes and vibrations. <P>SOLUTION: In the photoreceptor drive mechanism having a structure in which a photoreceptor drive motor (1) and a photoreceptor shaft (5) are drive-connected with a photoreceptor drive timing belt (7), bearings (12) supporting both ends of the rotary shaft (11a) of an idler pulley (11) and a support member (13) are connected by elastic members (14), and pressing forces are applied to the bearings (12) by the elastic members (14). The elastic moduli of the elastic members (14) are adjustable depending on the ends. Additionally, each of mounting holes (13a) for mounting the support member (13) to a housing with fastening members (15) is in the form of a long hole, and thus a fixing position with respect to the housing can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
