PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tool changing devices of a press for preventing access into a press chamber from being impaired. SOLUTION: Tool changing devices 12.1 and 12.2 are supported by end areas of slide tables turnably around a rotary shaft and in the transverse direction to the product carrying direction below upper edges of the slide tables 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3. Alternatively, the tool changing devices are disposed turnably around the rotary shaft in end areas of the slide tables in the transverse direction to the product carrying direction below the upper edges of the slide tables, and driven by an expandable drive unit.
