PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fitting workability by visually positioning a clip member on an engine body side to a dowel member on an engine cover side from the outside. SOLUTION: In an engine cover fitting structure, a fitting part 14 formed on the inner side of the lower surface of a cover body 13 is locked from an upper part to a fitting pin 16 provided on the upper end of an engine body 12. A clip member 20 is fitted to an engine mount bracket 18, a dowel member 23 positioned to and engaged with the clip member at a position corresponding to a locking position of the fitting pin to the fitting part is provided on one side of the peripheral wall 13b of the cover body, and the fitting part and the fitting pin are automatically positioned from an upper part at the same time by visually positioning and engaging the dowel member and the clip member with each other.
