PURPOSE: A cam holder for holding a guide shaft of an optical disc player is provided to reduce the number of components of the cam holder by using no screw, so simplify assembling of the cam holder to improve productivity. CONSTITUTION: A cam holder for holding a guide shaft of an optical disc player includes an upper cam member(174) and a lower cam member(176). The upper cam member is rotatably installed on a main base(10). The top face of a cam recess(172) is formed along the circumference of the upper cam member. The lower cam member is combined with the upper cam member. The bottom face of the cam recess, opposite to the top face, is formed along the circumference of the lower cam member. At least one hook(192) is formed at the top of the lower cam member, and the upper cam member has at least one catch(194). When the upper and lower cam members are combined with each other, the hook of the lower cam member is hooked by the catch of the upper cam member.
