<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual chlorine measuring method and a residual chlorine analyzer for automatically washing an electrode by stirring beads by utilizing a stream of sample water in the residual chlorine analyzer. <P>SOLUTION: A sample water inlet is provided on a circular sample water passage, and a working electrode is disposed with the electrode surface facing to the passage side wall surface hit by a jet stream of the incoming sample water from the sample water inlet, and the beads are arranged in the circular sample water passage. When the sample water is supplied into the sample water passage, the supplied sample water flows around together with the beads in the sample water passage, to thereby automatically wash the electrode surface of the working electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
