<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional mine detector detecting the mine in a state of approaching the ground surface for its dielectric constant, that the operation of the mine detector needs very high professional technology, as the detector must be laterally moved while keeping a specific distance from the ground surface, and is very dangerous as the antipersonnel land mine explodes on slight contact. <P>SOLUTION: A floating body is floated by the pressure-fed air to be separated from the ground surface, a ground-penetrating radar using electromagnetic wave is loaded on the floating body to improve the accuracy in detection while keeping a specific distance from the ground surface. As the mine detector is not kept into contact with the ground surface, the accidental explosion can be prevented in the mine detecting work, high efficiency in mine detection processing can be realized, and the safety can be remarkably improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
