<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardenable composition having high storage stability of principal ingredients even when carbon black is used as a reinforcing agent for improving the mechanical strength of a hardened product, good hardenability after storage of the principal ingredients, and sufficient breaking strength, hardness and gas barrier properties and being useful as a sealing material for e.g. a double-layer glass and window frames of vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises (a) a polymer containing two or more thiol groups per molecule, (b) a compound containing two or more isocyanate groups per molecule, (c) carbon black, (d-1) a filler based mainly on silicic acid and/or a silicate or (d-2) an organic filler based mainly on crushed coal and (e) a hydrocarbon type plasticizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
