发明名称 MELTING METHOD OF OXIDATIVE HEAT-GENERATING MATERIAL AND MELTING FURNACE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting method which can melt and slag general waste or incineration ash in a medium-to-small-scaled melting furnace by using reaction heat from an oxidative heat-generating material and heat from induction heating. SOLUTION: The incineration ash 1 generated upon incinerating general waste is broken into fragments having diameters of 50mm or less and formed into objects 1a to be processed, which are cast into the melting furnace 10 and heated to 300°C by induction heating to remove moisture. An ignition agent with the ignition temperature set higher than the rising temperature of the induction heating is installed, and the solidified oxidative heat-generating material 41 with specified gravity of 4 g/cm<SP>3</SP>or more is put on top of the objects 1a to be processed. The ignition agent is ignited by heating the oxidative heat-generating material 41 by induction heating. The heat of 1,300°C or more generated from the ignition agent starts a chemical reaction of the oxidized heat-generating material having an ignition temperature of 1,100°C or more to generate a temperature of 2,000°C or more, thereby heating the objects 1a to be processed to 1,600°C or more and melting them.
