PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a net for a fog prevention in which the possibility of a collapse and a damage is reduced because it has large meshes and the resistance of a wind is decreased and it is not subject to the effect of wind pressure. SOLUTION: A thick linear element as the main rib of the net is composed of a plurality of rib wires 2, and the rib wire 2 is formed of either of a steel wire, an aluminum wire, a stainless wire, a resin coated wire in which a copper wire or the steel wire is coated with a resin, an aluminum coated wire in which the steel wire is coated with aluminum, a hemp wire or a plastic wire. Thin short wires 3 composed of the same material as either material constituting the rib wire 2 are held among the rib wires 2, the linear elements 4 in which the short wires 3 are fixed in a mustache shape are prepared by twisting the rib wires 2 and the net is manufactured by knitting the linear elements 4.
