PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate fastening tool which is excellent in fastening capability for fastening a disc-like metallic plate and achieves high fastening strength, and to provide a method for easily and correctly fastening the metallic plate by using the plate fastening tool. SOLUTION: The plate fastening tool is for use in fastening the disc-like metallic plate to the tip of a long fixture rigidly arranged at the center of a circular spot facing hole formed in a surface of a concrete-based panel, wherein the plate is almost the same in shape as the circular spot facing hole. The tool consists of a driving shaft 11, a plate portion 12, and a plurality of claw portions 13. The driving shaft 11 allows insertion of a rotary tool therein. The plate portion 12 is fixed to one end of the driving shaft 11 as the center thereof. The claw portions 13 are protruded from a surface of the plate portion 12, opposite to the driving shaft 11, at locations of both ends of the plate portion 12 and corresponding to a plurality of holes formed in the metallic disk plate.
