PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for capturing an animal, stably set so that a cage body may hardly be fallen down, and preventing an opening and closing door for opening and closing an opening part from being opened even if the body is fallen down after capturing the animal (mainly a bear). SOLUTION: An L-shaped falling down-preventing metal fittings 84 are joined to the front and rear outer side surfaces of right and left both side parts of the cage body 1 through many bolt-insertion holes bored in the falling down-preventing metal fittings 84. The opening part 2 of the cage body 1 is closed by the opening and closing door turning at the upper part of the opening part 2, and the front face of the opening and closing door 5 is restrained by a rod-shaped stopper 9 guided in the upper and lower direction in the opening and closing structure. A locking metal fitting 14 freely hung and reversed at the front center part of the opening and closing door 5 is installed so that the rod body 7 of the stopper 9 may be restricted by fork end parts 13 formed at lower ends of both sides thereof.
