Heat-exchanger for condensing chemically corrosive materials. GB-. Has several elements vertically arranged one above the other where these elements have vertical channels to carry vapour and horizontal channels to carry cooling medium. The vapour channels of each element are displaced with respect to the vapour channels of the following element and each element has top grooves which are joined to the vapour channels of the preceding element. These grooves, open into a collector groove, which, in turn, is connected to several additional vertical channels which carry the condensate into the next lower elements. |
