The proposed process for treating service gases within a circulating fluidized bed, in particular of waste combustion, is characterized in that service gases are introduced into a fluidized bed from underneath through an inlet having the form of a Venturi nozzle, whereby the process gases are introduced into the circulating fluidized bed in a core flow (K) and simultaneously auxiliary gas flow (H) is blasted in the annular base edge zone (6) concentrically to the core flow (K) into the circulating fluidized bed so that the solid particles of the circulating fluidized bed falling down in the marginal regions thereof are transported into said core flow (K). A fluidized bed reactor (1, 1') for making the above-described process has a conically upward-widening diffuser region (2), which together with a cylindrical duct (4) and a concentrator (5), forms the Venturi nozzle inlet for the process gases. Between the cylindrical duct (4) and the diffuser wall (3), said annular base edge zone (6) has evenly distributed base-openings (10, 10') concentric with the cylindrical duct (4) for auxiliary gas flow (H) to enter through. |
