The invention concerns a method for service data management in a television system wherein said service data are transmitted. The method consists in: inputting service data and storing the input data into a receiving set first database; copying the service data stored in said first database to a second database of the receiving set to update said second base; making available the data stored in said second database to at least one application of said receiving set. The invention also concerns a television receiving set implementing said method.
