OPTICAL PICK-UP ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: An optical pick-up actuator is provided to reduce a high peak value by dispersing a high-order resonance due to vibration when data is recorded on or read from an optical disc. CONSTITUTION: An optical pick-up actuator that records/reproduces data information on/from an optical disc is constructed in such a manner that the corners of both edges of a lens holder(21) on which an objective lens(23) is mounted are perpendicular to a wire suspension(35), and the lens holder has an asymmetrical structure on the basis of a central axis that passes the objective lens such that both edges of the lens holder have different rigidities. The left and right edges of the lens holder have different thicknesses on the basis of the central axis perpendicular to the wire suspension. The left side is parallel with the central axis while the right side has protrusions and depressions.
