PURPOSE: An auxiliary damper frame for a packaging box is provided to have a sufficient shock absorbing rate and plasticity so that a failure does not occur to an packaging target article by a vibration or shock applied to the packaging box during transportation. CONSTITUTION: A packaging box(2) stores a packaging target article(1) and upper and lower damper frames(3,4) at the same time, the upper damper frame(3) and the lower damper frame(4) added on the upper and lower ends of the packaging target article(1) to protect the packaging target article(1) from the outside. The ends of a group of transverse frames(100) and longitudinal frames(101) made of a corrugated paper are fitted so as to be orthogonal to each other and formed in a lattice type. A rectangular space portion(102) is formed on the center part of the lattice type so that the back surface of the packaging target article(1) does not contact thereto. In case that the transverse and longitudinal frames(100,101) are inserted between the packaging box(2) and the upper and lower damper frames(3,4), the intervals of the transverse and longitudinal frames(100,101) are set so that only parts of the cross points where the transverse and longitudinal frames(100,101) are orthogonal to each other can contact to the upper and lower damper frames(3,4).
