METHOD FOR DETECTING WOBBLE SIGNAL

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a wobble signal is provided to detect the wobble signal within a single wobble period without the need of additional filtering. CONSTITUTION: An input signal(IS) having a wobble signal(WS) is compared with a reference signal(RS). The reference signal(RS) corresponds to the desired wobble signal(WS) in phase and frequency. An output signal(OS) indicating the amplitude and phase of the wobble signal(WS) is outputted.
