NETWORK REPEATER AND NETWORK REPETITION METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a network repeater capable of easily monitoring and controlling equipment on a different network as if equipment on the present network. CONSTITUTION: The network repeater has an information collection part 4 which collects information 26 regarding functions and identification of equipment V1 to V4 in other network n1 via a communication path N, a virtual unit generation part 7 which generates virtual unit information 21 according to a first protocol based on the collected information about the equipment, a decision part 6 which decides whether or not the equipment V1 to V4 in other network n1 are made to process a command based on the virtual unit information when the command is received and a repeating part 8 which transfers the command to equipment on other network n1 when the equipment V1 to V4 are judged to be made to process the command and control of equipment is facilitated between the networks.
