RUTHENIUM COMPLEX COMPOUND, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, METATHESIS REACTION CATALYST AND HYDROGENATION CATALYST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ruthenium complex compound, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide catalysts exhibiting high catalytic activities for the metathesis reaction and the hydrogenation of an olefin compound, respectively. SOLUTION: The ruthenium complex compound is such one that an aminoxycarbene compound is bound to ruthenium. The method for producing the ruthenium complex compound comprises carrying out a reaction between the aminoxycarbene compound and a ruthenium complex compound bearing a neutral ligand to effect ligand exchange. The metathesis reaction catalyst and the hydrogenation catalyst for an olefin compound include each the ruthenium complex compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
