PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a gear engagement state to be favorable in combining a drive transmission mechanism in a body frame provided with a single drive source with gears provided on a separate frame for drive transmission even with manufacturing error in devices or drive transmission mechanism. SOLUTION: In the body frame 1, the drive transmission mechanism 3 comprising a combination of a single motor 3 and a number of gears is provided. In a lower frame 10, a tooth lacking gear 13 to a paper feeding roller, and a follower gear 11 to which drive from the body frame is transmitted are provided. A floating gear 6 is engaged with the follower gear 11. By energizing the floating gear 6 in a pressing direction to the follower gear 11, driving force can be favorably transmitted between gears at connection parts of the frames even when manufacturing error or the like exists in a device body or a gear train.
