<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth the recycle of a printer cartridge and to automatically decide the repairability thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A rental product management record showing the repair history, rental frequency or the like of the cartridge is registered in a management server 1. The management server 1 sums up the points corresponding to the failure positions of the recovered cartridge, and determines the disposal of the cartridge when the total point is a predetermined regulated point or more.
