PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card housing cassette capable of setting in a ticket machine cards which are collected by a gate device only by transferring them as they are without putting them in order manually. SOLUTION: The card verification device is composed of an upper opening part 2A which forms a cylinder shape similar to a card shape and receives an inputted card, a card housing part 2 equipped with a bottom opening 2B which enables a roller of card carrying mechanism of the ticket machine to touch on a backside of the card at the bottom and a side face opening 2C for ejecting the card to a reader/writer 22, and a cassette base 3 integrated with the card housing part 2 by a lock mechanism for reinforcing the strength of the card housing part 2.
