PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit integrated liquid crystal display device small in size, high in aperture ratio and high in reliability. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device with a pair of substrates, a driver circuit 203 is formed on one substrate 201 at the inside of a seal 206 and at the outside of the display region, an insulating film 214 is formed on wiring connected to a pixel transistor 209, the other substrate 207 has a common electrode 216, a common terminal and the common electrode 216 are electrically connected to each other at a corner of the seal 206 with a conductive agent 217 present in the seal 206, and the top of the driver circuit 203 is freed of the insulating film 214.
